This hand-punched rug recalls Pablo Picasso’s famous and recognizable painting Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. My aim in this series is to emphasize the objectification of women - how at times throughout a woman’s life we can feel our entire being is minimized to parts of our body while our minds, thoughts, ideas, and experiences are removed.
