Eliza Groth (b. 1992, USA) is a London-based fibre artist and a graduate of Studio Art and International Relations from the University of Texas. Working across fibre, installation, and painting, her practice questions established distinctions between art and craft, particularly global craft traditions historically associated with women in domestic spheres. Shaped by living and working across the US, Spain, and the UK, as well as her experience as an artist educator, Groth’s work emphasises accessibility, material resourcefulness, and collective exchange. Her practice has been developed through international residencies(Morocco, Iceland, Spain, MX/US border) and exhibited in Europe and the United States, including the Fort Collins Museum of Art Biennial.
